Is CWFH Stepping into the Pay-Per-View Market?

www.hollywoodwrestling.com

The owner of the United Wrestling Network (UWN) David Marquez posted on Facebook earlier today: “Are you ready for a United Wrestling Network Championship Wrestling from Hollywood Pay-Per-View.” No details were given as to where and when so it’s left for us to pontificate. I enjoy Championship Wrestling from Hollywood (CWFH) and would like to see them attempt a Live PPV.
My first question was who could headline it? Eli Drake was with IMPACT and certainly still is a headliner and he’s already competed once in Hollywood since his release so it’s not out of the question we could see him more often. Drake vs UWN TV Champion Scorpio Sky would be an excellent match as long as the story was quality leading up to it. I'm not certain those two would be able to do regular TV especially after Sky goes to weekly TV with All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Rarely do I buy a PPV just for the Main Event so CWFH certainly has to be able to provide a solid card top to bottom.

They can do it with guys like Hollywood Heritage Champion “Uptown” Andy Brown, Royce Isaacs, UWN Tag Champions Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe & Luster the Legend), Double Platinum (Chris Bey & Suede Thompson), Tyler Bateman, Adrian Quest, Heather Monroe, and The Soul Burners (Tomaste & Ryan Taylor). If you are hosting a PPV you are looking for eyeballs outside of your state and CWFH is on National Television so the potential reach is there and the show is also available on Fite TV for free so they have the seemingly obvious partner to stream it. Fite is also the Live Streamer for PCW ULTRA who is based out of Southern California and is the only company in the Wild West hosting live PPV’s regularly.
Is a PPV even feasible? Yes. Marquez has plenty of partners. They have close ties still with the resurgent National Wrestling Alliance, but they’re locked in tight with ROH although a partnership there may be unlikely. He has ties with IMPACT, WWE, and New Japan to name a few, this news is in the wake of the UWN’s recent announcement of a new promotion in Las Vegas called Silver State Pro Wrestling. CWFH has already begun broadcasting their show in the Las Vegas Valley on MyLVTV on Friday night after Ring of Honor (ROH).
